Glympse – Share your location
Glympse is an app that lets you temporarily share your real-time location with family, friends, coworkers, and more. It visually answers the question, “Where are you?” Glympse gives people and businesses the power to securely and temporarily share real-time locations, regardless of the type of mobile device they own.
The app uses your phone's GPS feature to allow you to share your location in two ways:
Via a web-based map for a pre-determined period of time with anyone you choose who doesn't have the Glympse app
Within the Glympse app for a pre-determined period for those who, like you, have downloaded the Glympse app.
Sharing your location with someone is called “sending a Glympse.” A Glympse is sent as a link via text message. When recipients click on the Glympse link, they can view your location on a real-time map using any web-enabled device, provided you choose to share it with them.
Send a Glympse to let your friends know you’re on your way to meet them. Request a Glympse from a colleague who’s running late for a meeting. Set up a Glympse Tag with your cycling club. Create a Premium Glympse Tag for an upcoming local Santa Claus parade. Those you share with can view your Glympse on any web-enabled device, no sign-up or app required.

Glympse Private Groups
Glympse Private Groups is a Glympse feature that creates a private, invite-only group. You give members control over who can be a member. All members of a Group can share their location and request the location of other members – all visible only to those in the Group. Private Groups are ideal for sharing with family, carpools, sports teams, groups of friends, and more.
Glympse Tags
Glympse Tags is a Glympse feature that allows you to quickly view and share your location with multiple friends on a single, shared Glympse Map. Glympse Tags are public spaces (similar to Twitter/X hash tags) where anyone who knows the Tag name can view the Tag Map and add themselves to that map. When you view a Tag Map, what you see is a map of people who have opted in to join the Tag Map (example: !SmithFamilyReunion or !SeattleCyclingClub).
