MAPS.ME (also known as Maps With Me) is an excellent application that puts offline maps of the entire world on your cell phone. Ideal for travelers.

You won't always have an internet connection, especially when traveling abroad. And it is precisely when we move through unknown places that we need a map.
MAPS.ME is the app that will save you, allowing you to access maps from all over the world from your device in offline mode.
The software can locate you on the map using GPS. And browsing through it, you will find points of interest around you. Another alternative is to use the search function to find restaurants, shops, supermarkets, tourist attractions, hotels, banks, pharmacies, parking lots, gas stations and other places in the neighborhood.
MAPS.ME allows you to create bookmarks. Just press the point on the map you want to flag and add an indicator.
Maps With Me also allows you to know the distance between your current position and another chosen location on the map. The only real drawback of the application, in our opinion, is the inability to create paths or routes.
Lastly, Maps With Me offers the ability to share your location via email or social media (but to do this, make sure you can connect to the internet).
