Clean Master is an application designed to keep Android mobile devices free of unnecessary files and viruses, manage other downloaded applications and optimize memory for faster and more fluid performance. It performs four basic tasks directly from the main screen.
Clean Master scans temporary files, old APKs, and the cache to identify unnecessary and unused files. One touch starts the process and another eliminates the trash quickly and easily. It also notifies the user when garbage accumulation is slowing down the mobile device.
This can be done within the app, but it also includes the option to add a widget to the home screen. Users can check which apps are consuming memory and decide which ones to keep running for more efficient use of RAM.
A simple tap scans downloaded apps for any malware that may have infected the device. Additional options include protecting user privacy by erasing browsing and message history.
Clean Master displays all downloaded apps and APK files from external sources, allowing users to delete old and unused apps.
There is a sleep feature within the app. Running apps are listed with the option to put them to sleep to extend battery life. A widget can be added to the home screen to make this process even easier.
